Woodlands beach daze: reggaeton edition

Buddha Beach is a unique beachside venue set on our exclusive lake shores. With a line-up of local musicians, art and music workshops, food trucks and great partners, this series is the place to be!
This edition we will be having a House Music dance party hosted by Dj Moldybrain.
Kayak, paddleboard and bicycle rentals available thanks to Sealand Sports.
Food by RikiQuito's Venezuelan food.
In partnership with ByoSol to ensure a leave-no-trace, zero waste event.

Music Workshop by Soul Power:
Soul Power is a non profit production company and educational resource. Spreading love and healingthe soul through arts advocacy, education andproduction technologies. Their Mission is to providecommunities with the opportunity to engage inmusic creatively, educationally, and sustainably.
Art Workshop by Swhitey Art:
Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Sarah White hasdevoted her life to the exploration of self-expressionthrough visual arts. Since her teenage years, the artist has been working with children and the elderly. Her vibrant energy inspires everyone around her to be creative celebrating each persons' individuality.
Woodlands Beach Daze is included with any overnight experience. You can add rooms to this event item as you complete your booking, and the price will be adjusted accordingly.
No outside food, drink, or coolers at the event.
Kayak, SUP and bicycle rentals available, or bring your own. Rentals are $10 per hr
Food from The Kitchen by Chef T and beer from Edmund's Oast Brewing Company presented by House of Brews.

Is this event family friendly?
100%! Beach Daze offers access to the reserve for a lakeside sunset stroll or picnic. Dogs on leash are welcome. Cars will park along Tram Road. Guests are invited to stroll, play at the playground, walk around the lake, or even put in your own kayak or paddle board. Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, coolers, etc. See below for more details on things to bring/not bring.
How do I sing up to Workshops?
Upon entrance, head over to the artist's space. Spots are first come first served.
You don't need to arrive exactly at the time it starts to be a part of it. It's more of a guided experience rather than a class.
Are workshops included with the entrance fee?
What Covid safety measures are in place to ensure everyone’s safety?
Masks are encouraged. Please respect social distancing when picnicking and visiting concessions. We have lots and lots of space, and this event will be pretty mellow.
Arriving & Parking
Entry is located just via the main entrance to Woodlands Nature Reserve at 4279 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414. Gates to the property will open by 4pm. Proceed straight, and park perpendicular along the right side of Tram Road.
What kind of bathrooms are available at Beach Daze?
Portable bathrooms and a handwashing station will be available.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Food by Rikito's Venezuelan food and The Kitchen by Chef T. Cash preferred, cards accepted. House of Brews will be providing a selection of local beers and seltzers.
What is NOT ALLOWED at Beach Daze?
Outside drinks and/or food
Glass in any form
Weapons of any type

What is the refund policy?
Beach Daze is a rain or shine event. All sales are final. In instances of extreme weather conditions, event cancellations are possible and refunds will be issued.
Can I bring my dog or pet?
Well behaved dogs on leash are allowed. Please be courteous and clean up after your pet. Excessive barking during show times will not be permissible.
Can I camp overnight:
Yes! We offer several options for staying in the woods overnight. Please see the "Stay" tab at the top of this website.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes. Cards preferred, Venmo and cash accepted.

The entrance is the main entrance at The Woodlands Nature Reserve, 20-minutes west from downtown Charleston on Highway 61.
