Unplug, explore, and reconnect at the Kids Are Cool Family Festival + Campout—a Family-Friendly Weekend Camping event and celebration of youth creativity, community, and nature-based fun.
This isn’t your typical festival. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience where kids are the entrepreneurs, the artists, and the performers—and families get to camp, play, and cheer them on in one of the Lowcountry’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. One of the best Family-Friendly Weekend Camping events in the Charleston, SC area!
🌳 What’s Happening:
🛍 Kid Vendor Market Shop unique, handmade items and creative products from local kid-run businesses. These young entrepreneurs will impress you with their talent, energy, and innovation!
🎤 Live Kids Talent Show From music and magic to comedy and dance—watch young performers take the stage and light up the crowd. It’s a feel-good favorite that celebrates courage and self-expression.
🎨 Nature-Based Games & Activities Enjoy outdoor adventures, hunt for megladons, group games, and more. Kids can move, create, and explore all day long.
🔥 Family Campout (Optional) Make a weekend of it! Bring your tent or camper and stay overnight at The Woodlands. Enjoy fireside hangouts, quiet trails, and peaceful moments under the stars. Camping available Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure you bring your own camping supplies! There is no running water or electricity.

Weekend Campout Pass – Add Friday or Saturday night camping
Kids under 3 are FREE! All children must be accompanied by an adult. Limited campsites available—book early to reserve your spot!
